Girl Talk

Girl talk is a peer support group targeted to provide teenage girls ages 13-18. The group aims to foster a safe environment for teens to share their thoughts and feelings freely and increase socialization skills. Group facilitator provides promoting of topics and necessary psychoeducation about developmentally appropriate information and guidance. Group members are encouraged to discuss their peer relationships, family/home life and current shared interests. Additional general group objectives include strengthening interpersonal conflict resolution skills, effective communication skills and emotional regulation skills.
