Bleuler Psychotherapy Center is seeking Social Workers for our P/T Clinician position who are culturally competent and trained to the complex issues and trauma associated with many specialty populations in their treatment including Veterans, Justice-Involved Clients, LGBTQ, and Youth/Adolescents. The Clinician is responsible for conducting assessments, evaluating clients’ mental condition and formulating treatment plans. They will keep detailed notes and records of patients and monitors their progress. The Clinician must possess the ability to make a diagnosis of mental illness and advise their patients on the best treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, couples, and family psychotherapy to a caseload of patients ages 6 through geriatric. Caseload is comprised of multicultural patients with varying DSM V diagnoses.
- Conduct intake evaluations
- Make referrals to agencies and community resources as appropriate for the patients.
- Implement the treatment plan by providing psychotherapy interventions and/or services such as complex care management, crisis intervention services, and referrals to outside agencies/providers.
- Confer and consult with members of the treatment team including the psychiatrist, clinical supervisor, and other professional team members in implementing a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.
- Plan for patient’s discharge from the clinic and/or aftercare.
- Participate in clinic initiatives to use trauma-informed principles and evidence based practices including CBT and Motivational Interviewing to assess and treat symptoms such as Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, and Suicidal Ideation.
Qualifications:
- NYS licensure as a LMHC, LMSW or LCSW
- Knowledge in working with mental illnesses in children, adolescents, and the adult population.
- Electronic Health Record experience
- Commitment to person-centered and collaborative care
- Bilingual Spanish or Bengali preferred
Schedules:
Our part time clinicians must work a minimum of 12 hours per week with 2-3 shifts. These shifts are primarily evenings and Saturday. This position has hybrid flexibility and openness to fully remote.

Pay: $50.00 per session *depending on the type of session
