We recognize the critical role psychiatric care plays in the recovery process, especially for those grappling with substance use disorders. Our psychiatric services are designed to offer comprehensive support, ensuring that mental health and substance use are addressed together, in harmony.
Board-Certified Care: Our licensed psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners bring a deep understanding of the complexities associated with substance use disorders. This expertise ensures that care is not only effective but also empathetic, with a clear focus on your unique needs.
Collaborative Treatment Planning: Recognizing that recovery is multifaceted, our psychiatric professionals work closely with treating clinicians to coordinate care. This integrated approach ensures that all aspects of your health—physical, mental, and emotional—are considered in your treatment plan.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT): As part of our commitment to supporting your recovery journey, we offer MAT to help manage withdrawal symptoms, reduce cravings, and stabilize recovery. This evidence-based practice is a cornerstone of our treatment regimen, providing a path toward recovery that respects your individual needs.
Psychopharmacology with Care: Our approach to medication is cautious and thoughtful. Our Psychiatric Prescribing Position is clear: we prioritize safe, effective, and responsible prescribing practices. Medications with a higher likelihood of use or dependence are prescribed primarily on a short-term basis, aimed at managing acute symptoms of a severe or disabling nature. Our goal is to achieve the best outcomes through a combination of evidence-based psychological interventions and pharmacological treatments suitable for long-term use.
Typically, each session is 45 minutes long. This allows time for a thorough exploration of your thoughts and feelings, while also fitting conveniently into your schedule.
Bleuler Psychotherapy Center accepts a range of insurance plans including Medicaid and Medicare. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your coverage. Our administrative team is also here to help you navigate payment and insurance questions.
We understand that life is unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the slot to someone else in need. For more details on how to do this, please contact our office.
Access readily available and timely mental health services when you most need them. We are committed to promoting collaborative care for improved well-being, ensuring you receive the support necessary for a healthier, more balanced life.
